Ziggy’s - east end, north shore. Gas station, convenience store and bar. Eclectic menu varies daily. Special events. Check Facebook page for up-to-date information. Grateful Dead Sunday Brunch is popular.

Castaways - east end, north shore, adjacent to Ziggy’s. Casual dining.

Bungalows on the Bay - east end, north shore. Casual fare right next to the beach. Good burgers

Cheeseburgers in America’s Paradise - just called Cheeseburgers. east end, north shore, right at the big bend. Great burgers and fun theme nights. (often used as a landmark for island directions)

Hot Bar at Seaside Market & Deli - a selection of homemade goods daily. Great option if you want to grab something quick and be on your way.

Maria’s Cantina - just east of Christiansted in Gallows Bay commercial complex, opposite the Post Office. Reasonable Mexican dishes.

Blues Backyard BBQ - mid island, northside road. Open air BBQ often with live music.

La Reine Chicken Shack - mid island. An iconic island institution. Very reasonably priced, large servings of fresh rotisserie chicken and homemade sides. Everyone knows the chicken shack.

Sorbetierre - mid island. Outstanding homemade ice cream.

Leatherback - brewery is just west of the airport on Industrial drive. Sample brews and simple pub grub. Aluminum can recyling.

Leatherback Landing is at Cane Bay Beach and features a full menu of fresh seafood, sandwiches, salads, Sorbetierre ice cream and Wyn’s Bush Tea.

Montpelier Domino Club - west in the rainforest on Mahogany Road. Menu changes daily. Only place to try and purchase Mamma Wanna, a locally made rum infused with botanicals and honey. Friday is Roti day. Bonus: see the beer drinking pigs. CASH ONLY.

Armstrongs - west side. Tiny ice cream shop with delicious homemade flavors. Pina Colada is excellent.

Rhythms at Rainbow Beach - west end, north of Frederiksted. Standard pub fare. Great place to watch the sunset.

Sandcastles on the Beach - far west end, south of Frederiksted. Lovely setting for fresh salads and sandwiches. Lovely brunch. Reservations recommended for brunch. Sand Castle On The Beach Hotel In St. Croix, US Virgin Islands
